Job summary

Evonik Corporation in Mapleton seeks an experienced Plant Manager to lead the Fatty Acid Plant, Derivatives, Hydrogen and Wastewater operations. You will drive safe, compliant, cost-efficient production and coordinate with EHS&Q, Maintenance, Engineering and Finance to meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities include staffing the production workforce, establishing KPIs, continuous improvement, and ensuring FSMS conformance while managing inventories and budgets for the Mapleton site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or equivalent degree and experience.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in a chemical process plant environment with supervision and engineering responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Fatty Acid Plant, Wastewater Treatment, and Warehouse operations.
• Coordinate DP, Hydrogen Plant, and other Mapleton functions with EHS&Q, Maintenance, Engineering, and Finance.
• Develop site strategies, manage staffing, and ensure FSMS conformance.
• Establish plant KPIs, monitor operating data and costs; drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and retain a capable workforce and promote productivity.
