Job summary

You will provide real-time ASL to English interpretation for meetings, trainings, and day-to-day communications, and translate materials when needed. The role requires interpreting in technical and operational settings, collaborating with project teams and leadership, and maintaining confidentiality while contributing to accessibility practices across the

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Sign Language and Interpreting skills for technical settings.
• Experience with translation between signed and spoken languages.
• Knowledge of Deaf Culture and accessibility practices.
• Excellent communication in spoken and written English with active listening.
• Certification or credential as a sign language interpreter preferred.
• Experience in professional, government, or defense environments is beneficial.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time sign language interpreting and spoken English support for meetings, trainings, and day-to-day communications.
• Interpret between ASL and English and translate materials when needed.
• Collaborate with project teams and leadership to ensure accurate communication.
• Prepare for assignments by reviewing relevant technical content and maintaining confidentiality.
• Contribute to accessibility best practices across the organization.
