Job summary

Gursey | Schneider LLP is seeking a Discovery Management Associate in San Francisco to contribute to the discovery management team. You will review, organize, and categorize documents for import into the firm’s document management system, and assist with discovery requests and trial preparation.

The role involves liaising with clients and attorneys, supporting case preparation, and working in a hybrid in-office/work-from-home setting in the San Francisco office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2–4+ years of legal, litigation, or paralegal experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
• Proactive work style with reliable follow-through.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to take direction.
• Proficiency with Adobe and Microsoft Office.
• Commutable to San Francisco hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

• Review, organize, and categorize documents for importation and metadata entry.
• Summarize and reconcile discovery requests and responses, including interrogatories and requests for admissions.
• Assist with settlement conference and trial preparation by organizing reports and exhibits.
• Liaise with clients and attorneys to send and receive large document productions via secure links.
• Meet with senior staff to discuss case details and objectives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
