Job summary

VaynerMedia is seeking an SEO Manager to execute day-to-day SEO tasks, drive continuous organic growth, and collaborate with content creators and developers. You will conduct keyword research, optimize on-page elements, and fix technical issues, reporting to the SEO Director.

A strong background in analytics and cross-functional work is essential. This hybrid role requires hands-on optimization, regular audits, and ongoing adaptation to search algorithm changes to meet client KPIs for visibility

Qualifications

• Hands-on SEO experience with proven impact on rankings and traffic.
• Expertise in on-page optimization, HTML tags, keyword usage, and internal linking.
• Strong familiarity with technical SEO: site architecture, speed, structured data.
• Proficient with analytics tools to monitor performance and diagnose issues.
• Ability to translate keyword opportunities into actionable content recommendations.
• Excellent time management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive SEO tasks for client websites daily, including keyword research and on-page optimization.
• Perform regular technical SEO audits and coordinate with developers for fixes.
• Lead off-page SEO efforts like link building and content outreach under guidance.
• Monitor SEO metrics with GA/GSC and other tools; prepare client-facing reports.
• Refine tactics with data-driven insights and run A/B testing where relevant.
• Stay updated on algorithm changes and industry trends to adapt strategies.
• Collaborate with SEO Director to align with strategy and priorities.
• Work with content writers and developers to ensure SEO-friendly content and site changes.
• Educate team and clients on SEO best practices.
