Job summary

Clēnera, a leading solar and storage developer based in Boise, Idaho, seeks a Senior Technical Accountant to research, document, and implement complex accounting matters under U.S. GAAP and IFRS. The role partners with external auditors and internal teams to translate technical conclusions into clear reporting outcomes.

You will prepare memoranda, analyze complex transactions, review agreements, and support consolidated reporting. A CPA and 4+ years of accounting experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent years of experience.
• Minimum of 4 years progressive accounting experience, including technical accounting.
• CPA certification.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP; working knowledge of IFRS.
• Ability to translate accounting literature into clear conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Research complex accounting matters under U.S. GAAP and IFRS and develop conclusions.
• Prepare technical accounting memoranda and supporting analyses.
• Analyze significant and non-routine transactions (tax equity, acquisitions, debt, derivatives).
• Review agreements to identify accounting and reporting implications.
• Develop instructions to implement technical accounting conclusions across entities.
• Monitor new accounting pronouncements and assist with policy updates.
