Job summary

Ford is seeking a Buyer, Supply Chain Programs to support purchasing and program deliverables for one of Ford’s vehicle platforms. In this working-level role, you will coordinate program activities and contribute to sourcing, supplier readiness, cost, quality, and timing objectives from pre-program planning through launch.

You will work with Purchasing, Product Development, Finance, Manufacturing, STA, Material Planning & Logistics, and Program Management to track milestones, prepare analyses

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of Purchasing, procurement, Supply Chain, Program Management, or related experience.
• Knowledge of end-to-end sourcing processes and product development milestones.
• Experience with cost analysis and supplier data to inform decisions.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite; ability to prepare clear status reports.

Responsibilities

• Track program milestones and support procurement activities and issue resolution.
• Assist buyers and commodity teams with sourcing activities and RFQ materials.
• Monitor purchase orders, supplier deliverables, and program timing; flag delays and risks.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align on total landed cost business cases.
• Prepare and maintain program workplans, dashboards, and status reports for leadership.
• Participate in cross-functional program reviews and document decisions.
