Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business or related field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in procurement, preferably within the Automotive industry.

Aufgaben

• Lead sourcing initiatives for your commodities including RFQs, cost analytics, supplier negotiations, and contract execution.
• Manage the cost, quality, and delivery of commodity over program lifetime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide sourcing solutions.
• Conduct supplier evaluations and develop should-cost tools with engineering to drive negotiations.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery and resolve issues.
• Monitor market trends and material indices to identify cost savings and improvements.
• Work with Engineering to align development timelines and create creative commercial agreements.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and ethical standards in sourcing.
• Onboard new suppliers to Ford processes and assess end-to-end supply chain readiness.
• Promote transparency and management of the entire supply chain value stream with suppliers.
• Drive end-to-end ownership of commodities and promote efficient operations.
• Bring a proactive mindset and turn challenges into opportunities.
