Job summary

DISA Technologies is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to support the Controller in daily accounting operations in a fast-paced startup environment. Initial ownership of accounts payable with a path to a scalable AP function, bridging AP, AR, payroll support, and project cost tracking.

The ideal candidate has 2-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong technical accounting skills, and proficiency with NetSuite and Ramp.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 2-5+ years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting or relevant industry).
• Strong experience with month-end close and general ledger accounting.
• Familiarity with multi-entity environments and U.S. GAAP preferred.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar accounting systems required.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close tasks including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Own accounts payable processes and scale for future transition.
• Support accounts receivable activities and collections.
• Prepare payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll accounts.
• Maintain tax/compliance tracking and supporting documentation.
• Assist with project cost tracking and coding accuracy.
• Ensure data accuracy across NetSuite and Ramp.
