Job summary

ePlus Inc in the New York metro area is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to lead pre-sales engineering for multi-vendor IT solutions. This on-site role requires presence at the 1 Penn Plaza office two days per week and close collaboration with the regional sales team.

You will design architectures, develop BOMs, respond to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs, train colleagues, and drive revenue by translating customer needs into sustainable roadmaps.

Qualifications

• College degree or applicable work experience required.
• 8+ years in pre-sales engineering or similar.
• 5+ years designing or implementing complex network/security/data center solutions.
• Current OEM certifications (Cisco, HPE, Juniper, Dell, VMware, Palo Alto) expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to sales teams and customers across technology towers.
• Lead solution design, BOM development, and technical responses for RFPs/RFIs/RFQs.
• Conduct customer-facing presentations on core competencies and offerings.
• Draft and present solution architectures and proposals for multi-vendor environments.
• Lead technical scoping/reviews for SOWs and complex deployments.
• Transfer knowledge on OEM updates and best practices to teams.
