Pearson is seeking a Senior Security Analyst to lead day-to-day SOC operations, drive detection engineering, and advance automation across Pearson’s environments. You will refine SOC processes, develop detection capabilities, and ensure alignment with Pearson’s security standards and regulatory requirements.

This hybrid role at Pearson involves collaboration with threat intelligence, incident response, and governance teams to protect critical assets and deliver measurable security metrics.

Qualificações

• 4+ years in security operations, incident response, and detection engineering.
• Experience with regulated environments or government clients.
• Hands-on with SOAR, EDR, NDR, and SIEM technologies.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
• Strong multitasking in fast-paced environments; excellent communication.

Responsabilidades

• Lead advanced SOC operations: detection, triage, containment, and root cause analysis.
• Develop and optimize detection logic, playbooks, and automated responses.
• Improve SOC processes and alignment with threat landscapes and standards.
• Collaborate with threat intel to incorporate TTPs into SOC.
• Engage stakeholders with clear, actionable security insights.
