Job summary

Fivetran is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability and performance of its data platform in a hybrid Dublin office environment. You will partner with engineering, product, and support teams to build a robust deployment pipeline and rapid incident response.

You’ll work across AWS, Azure, and GCP, using Kubernetes, Terraform/Pulumi, and ArgoCD to improve availability and scalability. This role emphasizes collaboration with security and a strong focus on incident prevention.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with managed Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE).
• Proficient in AWS, Azure, GCP and IaC tooling (Terraform, Pulumi).
• Skilled in Python and Go development, with shell scripting.
• Experience in Linux internals and cloud networking (VPNs, privatelinks).
• Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering for code review and incident analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability and performance of production infrastructure.
• Grow reliability into the product roadmap.
• Prioritize and coordinate bug fixes for critical needs.
• Advise production infra decisions to maintain 100% availability.
• Ensure scalable deployments via automation scripts.
• Collaborate with security to remediate vulnerabilities.
