Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of our systems. You will work with development and operations to implement best practices in reliability engineering, automation, and monitoring, driving improvements across our infrastructure.

This role reports to the SRE Engineering Manager and operates on a hybrid schedule from the Phoenix location as part of a global 24x7x365 team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; 6+ years in site reliability engineering or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of cloud services, containers, and orchestration technologies.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash, with monitoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage monitoring and alerting systems for high availability.
• Collaborate with development to improve architecture and reliability via automation.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
