Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking a Senior Program Specialist for High Impact Practices to advance undergraduate research, community-engaged teaching, and fellowships. You will design, plan, and assess an annual calendar of HIPs events for students, faculty, and staff across all colleges and campuses.

You will work with HIPs and UFO teams, coordinate URAP activities, mentor student staff, and help shape communications, reporting, and program improvements based on data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in program/curriculum development and working with faculty.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Organized and efficient while managing multiple projects and priorities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with MS Office; experience with Canvas; ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Support design, planning, execution and assessment of HIPs activities and events.
• Coordinate the Undergraduate Research Apprenticeship Program (URAP) and supervise student employees.
• Engage with faculty research mentors and partner units to facilitate dialogue and collaboration.
• Assist with marketing and communications strategy and content for multiple platforms.
• Represent The Ohio State University in campus meetings, regional groups and national forums.
