Job summary

GM Defense Programs in Warren, Michigan is seeking a seasoned Senior Financial Analyst to support program finance for defense programs. You will monitor, forecast, and analyze financial performance, maintaining Estimates at Complete (EACs) and ensuring alignment with contracts and schedules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in program finance or similar finance roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting concepts and accounting.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with SAP, Hyperion, and Dassian is a plus.
• Experience with EVMS and financial modeling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate financial data into insights and recommendations.
• Prepare and maintain program forecasts (EACs, rolling forecasts, P&L, cash flow).
• Develop program baselines and manage revenue recognition and cost/schedule forecasts.
• Analyze variances and risks; support mitigation planning.
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for leadership.
