Job summary

NTT DATA Services is seeking a Senior Principal Cloud Architect - AWS & Service Activation to lead design, build, and operation of secure, scalable multi-cloud platforms. You will drive IaC adoption (Terraform), Kubernetes operations (EKS/GKE), and policy-driven governance across cloud environments while ensuring cost efficiency and reliability.

The role is hybrid, based in Irving, TX or Charlotte, NC, with onsite client support 2-3 days weekly.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, principal engineering, and/or cloud architecture roles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and GCP in enterprise environments, including high availability and multi-region design.
• Strong expertise in Terraform, IaC, and automated CI/CD deployments.
• Deep knowledge of IAM, networking, and cloud security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Architect, engineer, and implement scalable, secure cloud solutions across GCP and AWS, with Azure as a plus.
• Lead Terraform-based infrastructure as code and CI/CD integration for automated provisioning.
• Design multi-region, highly available architectures and implement governance for policy, tagging, and compliance.
