Job summary

NTT DATA, based in Plano, Texas, seeks a Senior Cloud Architect with deep hands-on Microsoft Azure expertise and AWS experience to design, implement, and support secure, scalable cloud solutions.

This is a hands-on architecture and engineering role. The ideal candidate can move between solution design and execution—building code, configuring cloud services, automating deployments, and working with engineering and DevOps teams across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of senior cloud architecture and hands-on cloud engineering.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure PaaS services.
• Hands-on development with .NET Core and Python.
• Proven experience delivering secure, scalable cloud solutions in enterprise environments.
• Experience deploying to a new geographic region or environment.
• Strong IaC, CI/CD, cloud configuration, networking, IAM/security, and deployment automation.
• Experience with AWS and multi-cloud is preferred.
• Excellent documentation and stakeholder management.
• Independent and proactive, able to work in fast-paced environments.
• Strong collaboration with distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, implementation, and deployment of Azure-based cloud solutions.
• Adapt existing Azure PaaS solution for deployment in a new geographic region.
• Assess architecture, applications, and infrastructure for regional, security, configuration, networking changes.
• Maximize reuse of existing architecture, code, and deployment patterns.
• Design secure, highly available, scalable Azure solutions.
• Develop configurations using .NET Core, Python, Azure PaaS services, and related cloud tech.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate across cloud infrastructure, networking, IAM/security, monitoring, and deployment teams.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across apps and environments.
• Create and maintain architecture, deployment, configuration, and operational docs.
• Partner with application development, cloud/platform, DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams.
• Communicate decisions and risks clearly to technical and business stakeholders.
• Own deliverables and drive from architecture and design through production deployment.
