Job summary

Arrowhead Intermediaries, a Brown & Brown company, seeks a Senior Power BI Lead to build and scale a centralized BI function. You will govern reporting, security, and semantic models across divisions, delivering certified datasets and standardized metrics.

Hybrid work with preference for candidates in Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, or San Diego. You will lead architecture, governance, and analytics initiatives while collaborating with executive stakeholders to drive adoption and value.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of BI/analytics experience including 5+ years in Power BI and 3+ years in a lead/architect role.
• Insurance industry experience preferred (P&C, MGA, wholesaler, carrier).
• Experience maturing a BI team, governance program, or analytics operating model.
• Expert Power BI: semantic modeling, DAX, dataflows, deployment pipelines, security, and admin tasks.
• Strong governance, data cataloging, security, lifecycle management, and adoption practices.
• Ability to design complex row-level security across divisions.
• Advanced SQL and data modeling; dimensional modeling and lakehouse patterns.
• Experience combining data across divisions; analytical judgment to avoid misleading insights.
• Strong business analysis and stakeholder management; translate needs into data products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to influence executives on standards.
• Design sensibility for executive reporting: visuals, UX, branding, storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Creates the foundation for a new Power BI department within the Data Strategy & BI team.
• Sets enterprise standards for Power BI reporting across divisions with governance.
• Ensures correct, governed, accessible information via certified datasets and standardized metrics.
• Leads complex reporting with secured access across multiple business units.
