Job summary

Pew Charitable Trusts in Washington, DC seeks a Senior Associate, State Policy, Substance Use Prevention and Treatment Initiative for a full-time, hybrid role. Qualifications

• Four years of applicable policy or health-related experience.
• Experience in substance use disorders or related health policy preferred.
• Experience writing and editing policy reports, fact sheets, web content, issue briefs, and testimony.
• Ability to plan and facilitate stakeholder meetings, webinars, and conferences.

Responsibilities

• Lead state policy engagements to inform legislation and regulation.
• Represent Pew in state advocacy activities with policymakers.
• Plan and implement stakeholder meetings, expert panels, webinars, and conferences.
• Develop evidence-based policy recommendations to expand equitable access to medications for opioid use disorder.
• Collaborate with other SUPTI staff and Pew departments to support state policy engagements.
