Job summary

Nextpower Inc in Nashville, TN, is seeking a Sr. Manager, Project Management to lead projects from procurement to commissioning, ensuring safety and customer satisfaction. The role offers a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days off-site) or TN-remote with monthly Nashville visits.

You will oversee project teams, manage P&L, coordinate logistics, and collaborate with design, supply, and customers to meet on-time delivery. Solar PV tracking expertise is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of PM experience in energy, construction, mining, oil & gas fields.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong project management skills and qualifications.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Experience interfacing with supply chain procurement and logistics.
• Experience in and talent for dealing with customer support and O&M issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Passion for solar or renewable energy.
• Strong knowledge of PV technology and its applications.
• Hands-on experience with photovoltaic tracking solar systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage groups of Projects from PO to Commissioning and take ownership of all aspects.
• Oversee project teams and direct reports to develop portfolios.
• Provide technical support and ensure best-in-class customer experience.
• Coordinate ordering of tools and training for projects.
• Manage Project P&L including revenue forecasting, invoicing, cash flow and cost management.
• Provide field support for installation and quality control, resolving issues via NCR/ Construction Deviation reports.
• Coordinate delivery from PO to customer, liaising with Design Eng, Supply, Logistics, and freight forwarders.
• Establish and report KPIs for customer care to drive performance.
• Contribute to cross-functional product teams with systems integration input.
