Job summary

Dewberry's Nashville, TN office is seeking a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer-Commissioning Agent to advance to Senior Project Manager. The role targets candidates with 10+ years of experience in engineering and commissioning, strong leadership, and business development skills. Hybrid work is available based on experience, with opportunities across multiple Eastern U.S.

markets. The successful candidate will lead a commissioning team, inspect building systems, and develop comprehensive testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 10+ years of engineering and commissioning experience.
• Commissioning experience.
• Commissioning process certification preferred or ability to acquire within first 6 months.
• Business development experience a plus.
• Professional Engineering License a plus or ability to acquire.

Responsibilities

• Doer-Seller: Find the work and execute it.
• Actively support and coordinate with the commissioning team to execute projects.
• HVAC sequence of operation knowledge; design review and testing procedures.
• Evaluate HVAC controls systems (JCI/Trane/ALC/Siemens) and test field operations.
• Review air and water test and balance processes and TAB reports.
• Travel approximately 50% of the time.
