Dewberry's New York, NY office seeks a Senior Project Manager—Mechanical or Electrical Engineer-Commissioning Agent with 10+ years of experience to lead a commissioning team and deliver projects across Education, Healthcare, Industrial, and Federal sectors along the Eastern U.S.

You will develop and manage commissioning services, provide technical and process support, and drive business development to expand the client base, with autonomy and strong horsepower.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
• 10+ years of engineering and commissioning experience.
• Experience leading commissioning teams and business development is preferred.
• Commissioning certification preferred or willingness to acquire within 6 months.
• Professional Engineer license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Doer-Seller: find work and execute it.
• Lead and manage a commissioning team across multiple projects.
• Inspect systems, develop testing procedures, and document closeout.
• Coordinate with clients, trades, and design professionals.
• Travel ~50% of the time.
