Job summary

Electronic Arts seeks a Senior Payroll Specialist to join our CFO payroll team in a hybrid role based in Redwood City, CA. You will support multi-state payroll processing, audits, and tax compliance while ensuring accurate W-2 reporting and year-end close.

This position partners with HR and finance to implement process improvements and ensure compliance with LOA pay laws. A strong background in ADP/Workday/UKG Pro or Ceridian and advanced Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of US payroll experience in a large, multi-state population.
• 5+ years with HRIS/Payroll systems (ADP, Workday, UKG Pro, Ceridian).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and large payroll data handling.
• Experience with payroll tax compliance and W-2 reconciliation.
• Knowledge of leave of absence (LOA) pay laws.

Responsibilities

• Payroll Processing & Operations: payroll processing for multi-state, audits, adjustments and corrections.
• Payroll Audits & Controls: maintain documentation and evidence for audits.
• Payroll Tax Compliance: monitor tax law changes and manage registrations in new jurisdictions.
• W-2 & Year End Compliance: audit and correct W-2 discrepancies.
• Process Improvements & projects: assist in automating processes and increasing efficiencies.
