Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with US payroll in a large, multi-state employee population.
• 5+ years of experience with multiple HRIS/ Payroll systems like ADP, Workday, UKG Pro, Ceridian is must
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience working with large payroll datasets
• Experience in handling and independently managing payroll tax compliance, W-2 reconciliation and in-depth understanding of employee tax validation.
• Experience with laws affecting leave of absence (LOA) pay

Responsibilities

• Payroll Processing & Operations: Help with payroll processing for muti-state, pre & post payroll audits, adjustments and corrections to current or previous pay periods.
• Payroll Audits & Controls: Follow existing payroll controls and maintain supporting documentation and evidence for internal and external audits.
• Payroll Tax Compliance: Monitor tax law changes for applicable jurisdictions and help manage the registration in new tax jurisdictions.
• W-2 & Year End Compliance: Help with comprehensive audit of W-2, resolve identified discrepancies and perform corrections.
• Process Improvements & projects: Help with assigned projects to help automate the processes and increase efficiencies
