Job summary

Hexagon is seeking a Senior Payroll & HR Shared Services Expert in Rhode Island. The role delivers expert US payroll administration and HR shared services across the employee lifecycle, with emphasis on ADP Workforce Now and compliance.

The candidate will partner with HR, Benefits, Finance, and IT to improve payroll processes, systems, and the employee experience, while maintaining data integrity across HRIS and payroll platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of payroll administration experience with significant US multi-state payroll
• 5+ years of hands-on ADP Workforce Now administration experience
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws, payroll taxes, 401(k), workers' compensation, FLSA, and ACA
• CPP certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end US payroll across multiple states using ADP Workforce Now.
• Serve as ADP Workforce Now subject matter expert for configuration, reporting, troubleshooting, and optimisation.
• Review payroll data for accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
• Lead payroll audits, year-end W-2 processing, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
• Advise on payroll process improvements, HRIS integrations, and system conversions.
• Maintain accurate employee records across HRIS and payroll platforms.
