Job summary

ACS Professional Staffing is seeking a seasoned Licensing & Environmental Consultant to lead regulatory activities for new nuclear development projects in Richland, WA. The role requires guiding licensing strategy, interfacing with reactor vendors and regulators, and ensuring compliant documentation through PSAR/FSAR processes.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in nuclear licensing or regulatory affairs, a bachelor’s degree, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a highly regulated

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 10 years in regulatory affairs, licensing, environmental, or related roles in a nuclear plant.
• Strong knowledge of nuclear licensing requirements and compliance documentation.
• Experience preparing and reviewing licensing submissions (PSAR/FSAR) and interfacing with regulators.

Responsibilities

• Lead licensing and environmental activities for new nuclear development initiatives.
• Provide regulatory guidance to management on complex licensing and environmental matters.
• Interface with reactor vendors and regulators for licensing activities.
• Oversee preparation and review of licensing documentation (PSAR/FSAR).
• Develop Technical Specifications and Technical Requirements Manual.
• Ensure regulatory documentation complies with applicable requirements.
• Lead regulatory discussions and meetings with agencies and stakeholders.
• Support regulatory readiness and compliance throughout project development.
