Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Capable of conducting meetings with regulatory management.
• Maintain professional relationships with regulatory agencies.
• Ability to reach consensus among dissenting opinions and stand firm when needed.
• Work effectively in a highly stressful, time-constrained regulatory environment.
• Strong understanding of Licensing and Environmental regulations for a nuclear facility.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Reactor Technology Vendor and other vendors to prepare licensing docs (PSAR/FSAR) for construction permit and operating license.
• Manage development of technical specifications and the technical requirements manual.
• Develop licensing documents supporting Fire Protection, Emergency Preparedness, Physical Security, Cyber Security, NMC&A, Radiation Protection, DOCL, ISI/IST, and Fitness for Duty as directed.
• Ensure licensing documents meet regulatory requirements and are validated by source documentation.
