Job summary

ACS Professional Staffing is seeking a Licensing Engineer III to provide regulatory and technical support for licensing and compliance activities in Richland, WA. You will collaborate with engineering teams, regulators and stakeholders to address licensing and environmental issues and support renewal programs.

The role requires a bachelor's in engineering with nuclear-regulated experience; PE license is preferred. On-site work with a strong emphasis on communication and Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university, 7+ years in a technical environment with 2+ years in regulated nuclear.
• PE license with 7+ years in a technical setting, including 4+ years in a DOE/NRC regulated nuclear environment.
• Experience with regulatory affairs, licensing processes and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide regulatory and technical support for licensing, compliance and environmental initiatives.
• Consult with management to address nuclear safety, licensing and regulatory issues.
• Develop recommendations and strategic guidance on regulatory project performance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, vendors, regulators and stakeholders.
• Represent the organization at regulatory meetings, work groups and conferences.
• Support environmental review activities including field/site visits.
• Work with licensing and environmental experts to resolve challenges.
• Monitor changes to licensing requirements and industry standards.
