M&T Bank Corporation is seeking a senior technical lead for IBM z/OS mainframe applications based in Buffalo. You will own design, development, modernization, and production support, combining COBOL batch and online expertise with Git-based engineering, test automation, and CI/CD.

You will drive technical decisions, establish standards, and guide modernization efforts across batch and online processing, APIs, and integrations while ensuring security, resiliency, and production readiness.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of systems analysis and/or application development work experience.
• In lieu of degree, combined education/experience may apply.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design, development, enhancement, and support of mainframe apps.
• Define test strategy for mainframe changes and automated checks.
• Oversee SDLC governance, code reviews, and deployment readiness.
• Partner with stakeholders to align delivery with standards and risks.
