Job summary

Matura Farrington, Inc. is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal (or Senior Paralegal) to join their Los Angeles office. The ideal candidate will handle the full litigation flow, research, drafting, and trial support, in a hybrid work environment.

Requirements include 3–5+ years of civil litigation defense, a Bachelor’s or ABA Paralegal Certificate, strong MS Office and Relativity skills, and superb communication with attorneys, staff, and clients.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of civil litigation defense experience in a law firm
• Bachelor's Degree and/or ABA Paralegal Certificate
• Strong software skills and knowledge, MS Office, document management software, e-Discovery / Relativity, etc.
• Excellent communication with attorneys, staff, and clients

Responsibilities

• Research, gather, and compile data for case preparation and legal citations to assist attorneys
• Assist with trial preparation including exhibits and witness preparation
• Draft and compile information to support attorneys in drafting documents
• Prepare and manage subpoenas and other hearing documents
• Assist with all areas of discovery, including e-Discovery
