Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead end-to-end IT infrastructure modernization projects for the U.S. Coast Guard.

The role will be based in Alexandria, VA with a hybrid work arrangement and will drive multiple enterprise network refreshes, OOB management deployments, and legacy VSAT transitions. You will coordinate with USCG stakeholders, cross-functional engineering teams, field technicians, and vendor partners to ensure mission success, adherence to SLAs, and compliance with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent required with 12+ years of experience.
PM certification (PMP) or federal PM equivalent required.
Experience managing large federal contracts or enterprise IT deployments.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of IT infrastructure and network projects.
Coordinate with USCG stakeholders, engineers, field staff, and vendors.
Define scope, build WBS, and manage schedules with critical path focus.
Identify and mitigate risks; develop contingency plans to minimize downtime.
Manage budgets, expenditures, and procurement for network hardware and services.
Direct daily tasks of network engineers, technicians, and security teams.
Ensure SLAs, timelines, and regulatory compliance are met.
Prepare deliverables, change tickets, and MSRs with quality checks.
