HCSC seeks a government affairs professional to strengthen relationships with state governments, insurance departments, Medicaid agencies, and related trade associations. The role identifies regulatory opportunities to advance business and policy objectives while coordinating with internal partners.

The position is a Flex (Hybrid) role: 3 days in office and 2 days remote, with sponsorship not available. Base pay and total rewards reflect extensive experience in health regulation.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree and 7 years legislative and regulatory advocacy experience.
• Familiarity with legislative/regulatory work with State Department of Insurance, State Medicaid agency, or State Legislature.
• Knowledge of managed care/health insurance industry.
• Verbal and written communication; ability to disseminate complex information clearly.
• Independent judgment skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and internet-based legislative tracking tools.
