Job summary

Gen II Fund Services, LLC is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join our technology-enabled PE fund administration team in Denver. You will gain exposure to the full private equity fund lifecycle, including new and first-to-market funds across sectors, while driving process improvements.

Your responsibilities include examining accounting records, preparing statements, reviewing work-papers, and assisting with new fund transitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accountancy, Economics and/or Finance.
• Knowledge of consolidations with non-controlling interest.
• Knowledge of realized and unrealized waterfall allocations.
• 2+ years of private equity fund accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Examine and analyze accounting records for accuracy and conformance to reporting standards.
• Review work-papers, prepare call and distribution letters, calculate carried interest, allocate profits and losses per governing agreements.
• Prepare Consolidated Financial Statements with footnotes.
• Analyze investment documents and structure setups including holding companies, AIVs and blockers.
• Calculate current and deferred tax expense/benefit and related tax assets/liabilities.
• Train new employees and assist with new fund transitions and setups.
