Taskrabbit, Inc. seeks a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our AI & Innovation team, shaping the future of our financial infrastructure and client experience. You will contribute to reliable, scalable systems while delivering high-impact, AI-enabled features across backend and frontend.

You will work in a hybrid setup with in-office Tuesdays and Wednesdays in San Francisco, collaborating across teams to turn ambitious ideas into concrete, tested software and robust production systems.

Qualifikationen

• 5 years of professional software engineering with frontend and backend experience.
• Experience with Node.js and microservices; Ruby on Rails a plus.
• Strong SQL and data modeling (Postgres, Snowflake).
• Hands-on with async/event-driven systems (Kafka) and distributed architectures.
• Experience owning observability/alerting for critical systems.
• Proven ability to design, build, and scale large distributed systems.

Aufgaben

• Architect the multi-quarter AI & Innovation technical roadmap (backend and frontend).
• Lead complex cross-team technical initiatives as Tech Lead.
• Translate ambiguous business goals into clear technical strategies and experiments.
• Champion Spec-Driven Development (SDD) using AI tools for robust Node.js implementations and tests.
• Drive adoption of AI-driven development practices and maintain engineering rigor.
