GNC is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to prepare external financial and internal management reports, perform technical accounting research, and handle complex accounting for debt, equity, and related activities. This role supports SOX compliance and financial reporting cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and review of all financial filings
• Provide assistance to operational management in the analysis and understanding of all financial information
• Research, analyze, and document technical accounting and disclosure items
• Ensure timely and accurate journalization of all assigned accounts to the general ledger
• Maintain and update accounting policies for new pronouncements
• Reconcile designated general ledger accounts monthly and provide reports
• Prepare audit schedules for quarterly and year-end external audits
• Assist in preparing financial reporting packages
• Participate in SOX compliance activities including documentation and testing
• Provide analysis on hot topics and mentor staff accountants
• Support senior staff and take on additional duties as assigned
