Job summary

Idaho Power Company is seeking a Financial Analyst or Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team in Boise, ID. The role supports specialized financial, accounting, budgeting, and planning activities, and offers up to 40% remote work and a flexible schedule.

You will model revenue requirements, cost recovery mechanisms, and perform in-depth financial analysis, communicating findings to management with precision and clarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
• 2+ years of professional experience in accounting or finance for Financial Analyst; 5+ years for Senior Financial Analyst.
• Preference for CFA, CMA, or CPA and utility experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial, accounting, budgeting, planning activities and analyses.
• Act as a consultant on financial policy, procedure, and application.
• Prepare and present conclusions and recommendations to management.
• Demonstrate knowledge of GAAP, FERC accounting, and utility ratemaking practices.
