Job summary

Idaho Power — located in Boise, Idaho — is seeking a Senior Environmental Compliance Engineer to join our Environmental Compliance team. The role blends office leadership with substantial field work, supporting environmental compliance across Idaho and Oregon.

Flexible schedules and the opportunity to work up to 40% remotely are offered, with anticipated field presence 60% or more. This position emphasizes regulatory, strategic, and policy guidance to advance safe, reliable energy delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• Or Bachelor of Science in Engineering from a non-ABET institution with a Professional Engineer license (PE).
• 6 years of related engineering experience.
• PE license preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide programmatic leadership for environmental compliance and regulatory affairs to support Idaho Power’s objectives.
• Lead complex assignments and projects and coordinate with internal departments and regulators as needed.
• Interface with regulators and develop/implement Idaho Power’s environmental compliance program.
• Support interaction between Idaho Power and regulatory agencies, ensuring a culture of compliance.
