Job summary

State Compensation Insurance Fund in Alameda County is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst (Accounting Administrator I, Specialist) to support Treasury operations and cash receipts processes. You will lead reconciliation efforts, ensure internal controls, and advise on system development with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include preparing committee materials, collaborating with IT, risk, legal, and auditors, and delivering training on resolution procedures in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced accounting and analytical duties in Cash Receipts Resolution.
• Strong internal controls and financial systems knowledge.
• Collaborates with multiple business partners and legal teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex accounting and analytical duties supporting Cash Receipts Resolution operations.
• Act as a subject matter expert for system development and implementation efforts.
• Collaborate with EPMO, Enterprise Projects, Legal, IT, Risk, Privacy, and business partners.
• Research, analyze, and resolve discrepancies between the general ledger and bank statements.
• Conduct monthly reconciliation reviews to ensure financial accuracy and completeness.
• Develop and update unit procedures with strong fiscal and security controls.
• Prepare training materials and deliver presentations on Cash Receipts Resolution processes.
• Prepare and review monthly Treasury & Investment Committee materials and provide updates.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors with documentation and support.
