Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Sr Finance Manager in Sacramento, CA to partner with business leaders, translate financial data into clear insights, and drive disciplined execution across forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.

Lead performance reviews, support pricing and profitability decisions, and ensure governance, data integrity, and robust controls while mentoring junior finance staff in COE and analytics tools.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's level degree in finance/accounting/economics or related field.
• Progressive finance experience with business partnering, FP&A or operational finance.
• Experience forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, and financial performance management.
• Proven ability to translate complex financial concepts to non-finance audiences.

Responsibilities

• Advise leadership with clear financial insights and recommendations.
• Lead forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, and regular performance reviews.
• Ensure strong governance, internal controls, and data integrity.
• Lead IBP process in product and market contexts and support pricing decisions.
• Provide weekly financial updates highlighting variances and corrective actions.
• Mentor junior finance staff and collaborate with COE/Data & Insights teams.
