Zusammenfassung

Amentum seeks a driven Epidemiology Operations Senior Analyst to lead the DST's infectious-disease surveillance and epidemiology efforts on the PACOM Command Surgeon's team. You will oversee wastewater surveillance, integrate diverse data, and coordinate with civilian agencies, academia, and partners.

The role requires a Master of Public Health or related master’s degree, a Secret clearance, and 7+ years in epidemiology or public health surveillance.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or higher in epidemiology, public health, biostatistics, health science, or a closely related discipline
• Active Secret security clearance required (US Citizenship for clearance)
• 7+ years of experience in epidemiology, public health surveillance, disease monitoring, or related field
• Experience analyzing complex surveillance data and translating findings into actionable recommendations
• Knowledge of epidemiological design, surveillance methods, statistics, and data quality
• Familiarity with military planning and ability to work with military planners and decision-makers
• Strong writing, consultation, coordination, and senior-leader briefing skills
• Master's degree (MPH) and wastewater-based epidemiology experience
• DoW/Combatant Command/public-health or infectious-disease surveillance experience
• Knowledge of microbiology and emerging diseases
• Indo-Pacific experience and familiarity with AI-enabled tools or biosurveillance platforms

Aufgaben

• Analyze epidemiological, public-health, wastewater, biosurveillance, and classified information to identify trends and threats
• Lead wastewater-surveillance baseline development with laboratories and specialists
• Assess significance, reliability, limitations, uncertainty, and operational implications of findings
• Provide findings for integration with medical intelligence and operational plans
• Monitor infectious diseases across the US PACOM AOR using multiple data sources
• Support epidemiological investigations with DoW personnel
• Coordinate with J07, theater public-health orgs, overseas labs, and external partners
• Test Biosurveillance Information Platform and provide epidemiology findings for Military Utility Assessments
• Translate surveillance needs into requirements for technical teams; coding not required
• Develop surveillance protocols, data-quality standards, analytic methods, and reports
