Job summary

Amentum is seeking a driven Epidemiology Operations Senior Analyst to serve on the PACOM Command Surgeon’s DST. The role leads infectious-disease surveillance, analyzes public-health data, and coordinates with civilian health agencies, academia, and foreign partners to identify anomalies and assess force-health effects.

Based at Camp Smith with hybrid options, the analyst translates surveillance needs into technical requirements for feeds, dashboards, and workflows, and serves as a senior expert

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance required for this role.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in epidemiology or public health surveillance.
• Experience translating complex surveillance data into actionable recommendations.
• Knowledge of epidemiological design, surveillance methods, and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Analyze diverse data to identify trends, anomalies, clusters, and threats.
• Lead wastewater-surveillance baseline and anomaly-threshold development with collaborators.
• Assess significance, reliability, and operational implications of findings.
• Provide findings for integration with medical intelligence and operational plans.
• Coordinate with military and external partners to support epidemiological investigations.
• Translate surveillance needs into technical requirements for feeds, dashboards, and workflows.
• Develop surveillance protocols and data-quality standards.
