Job summary

Sargent & Lundy in Clayton, Missouri offers a hybrid work arrangement: three days a week in the office and two remote. The role leads a project team in the design, modification, and upgrade of power plant electrical systems, under the Electrical Project Lead, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

You will produce electrical drawings, review vendor drawings, and have opportunities for field walkdowns at client facilities.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in drafting or equivalent technical design experience.
• 10+ years of detailed physical design experience for grounding layouts, duct banks, conduit drawings, cable trays and equipment locations.
• Experience reviewing electrical physical layout drawings with equipment outlines and interfaces.
• Produce physical construction layout drawings and support design interactions with other disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead project team work in design, modification, and upgrade of power plant electrical systems.
• Develop grounding layouts, conduit routing, cable schedules, and equipment locations under guidance of the Electrical Project Lead.
• Produce electrical drawings and incorporate vendor drawings into the overall project design.
• Occasionally participate in field walkdowns and data gathering at client facilities.
