Job summary

GALLO is seeking a Senior Designer within GALLO Creative to shape wine, spirits and beverage brands through identity and packaging design, and to activate these brands across marketing channels.

You will own projects from brief to final design, collaborate with leadership and brand teams, translate insights into strategic, beautifully crafted work, and grow into bigger brand challenges while working in a hybrid model with three onsite days per week in Modesto, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, fine arts, advertising, communications, and/or journalism plus 4 years of related experience; or alternative combinations per posting.
• Original portfolio with commercial work across multiple industries showing a range of outputs and creative experience.
• Ability to interface with clients and teams to meet objectives.
• Expertise from concept to execution; strong layout, typography and design composition.
• Knowledge of printing and digital production technologies and methods.
• Experience in a multi-functional marketing team and strong communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 apps and Adobe Creative Suite; experience with project platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own projects from brief through final design with leadership and brand teams.
• Translate consumer insights and business goals into strategically sound design.
• Extend work into multi-channel brand expressions.
• Present work with clear rationale to creatives and leaders.
• Apply typography, materials and finishes with a refined brand point of view.
