Job summary

Georgia Pacific Corp. in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Demand Planner / Sr Demand Planner to lead 13-week and 18-month forecasts for the Dixie Food Service Cutlery category.

You will partner with sales, customer planning and category teams to align on demand and drive S&OP meetings. You will manage forecast accuracy, analyze promotions, and coordinate with key accounts to incorporate insights from sales and market trends while balancing supply and inventory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Forecast Management: adjust and maintain the forecast for the next 13-weeks and long term 18-month horizon.
• Management of customer and regional splits based on trends and seasonality.
• Ensure promotion timing and pipeline fills are planned correctly for the entire year.
• Lead monthly Demand Alignment meetings to present and align on a forecast for near and long-term plans.
• Lead monthly Demand Review meetings to present forecast changes, forecast performance, and trends.
• Analyze monthly forecast pacing and communicate changes to supply planning teams.
• Coordinate with sales to present forecast and gain insights that influence your POV.
