Job summary

Southeastern Mills, Inc. in the Rome, Georgia area is seeking a Sr. Demand Planner to join our Supply Chain team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This hybrid role requires three days in the office and two days remote.

You will develop forecasts, analyze sales and inventory trends, identify risks and opportunities, and partner across Sales, Production, Procurement, and Operations to align demand with manufacturing capabilities. Strong SAP and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with SAP in planning, supply chain, or manufacturing.
• 5+ years of experience in demand planning or related field.
• Advanced Excel skills, including formulas and PivotTables.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Experience with S&OP or IBP is preferred.
• Experience with food manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain short- and long-term demand forecasts using historical data and trends.
• Analyze demand patterns, forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and production requirements.
• Use SAP to analyze material, inventory, production, sales, and planning data.
• Develop forecasting tools and dashboards to support decision making.
• Partner with Sales, Customer Service, Production, Procurement, Warehouse, and Operations to align demand with capabilities.
• Monitor forecast bias and changes, report key planning metrics, and support S&OP/IBP processes.
• Support new product launches, promotions, seasonal changes, and inventory optimization.
