Job summary

PSEG Long Island is seeking an experienced analyst to enhance and build databases, perform data-driven budgeting and reporting for Revenue Operations. You will analyze budgets, business processes and performance metrics to guide decisions and support the ESCO portfolio and tariff compliance.

The role requires proficiency in Access, Excel, Tableau and SAP, with strong communication and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Accounting, Business, Data Analytics or related field and 5 years of analysis experience.
• Proficient in Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau and SAP.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear communication.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver's license and safe driving history.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage operating and capital budgets with variance analysis and reporting.
• Create and maintain databases, spreadsheets, reports and data reconciliation.
• Support month-, quarter- and year-end close activities with journal entries and analysis.
• Analyze performance, identify trends and costs saving opportunities; propose actions.
• Lead process improvement via root-cause analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
• Communicate business needs to IT and deliver actionable insights with regular reports.
• Track contracts, invoices and project expenditures; support special projects.
