Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant on our Data Protection & Privacy (DPP) team to lead client engagements, define data security requirements, and implement encryption and governance across client data lifecycles.

You will join an internationally connected cybersecurity practice, work with Advanced Security Centers, and help protect clients’ most sensitive information while advancing business resilience. Hybrid work model offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and approximately 4-6 years of related work experience or a graduate degree with 3-5 years.
• Approximately 3-5 years of technical architecture experience integrating data protection software into client infrastructure and applications.
• Knowledge of data security concepts and methods (encryption, data disposition, classification, governance).
• Understanding of data governance and data lifecycle management and data privacy tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagement teams on strategic cybersecurity projects.
• Define technical and business requirements for data security solutions.
• Develop data security strategies and governance policies for clients.
• Implement encryption, PKI, and data protection tools across client environments.
• Advise on data lifecycle, governance, and compliance across engagements.
