Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant within our Data Protection & Privacy (DPP) capabilities to lead client engagements on data security solutions. You will work with diverse teams to define requirements, implement encryption and governance programs, and help protect critical data throughout its lifecycle.

The role emphasizes delivering data security strategy, managing risk, and collaborating across EY's Advanced Security Centers to drive resilient client outcomes in a hybrid US setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and approximately 4-6 years of related work experience.
• Approximately 3-5 years of technical architecture experience integrating data protection software into clients' infrastructure and applications.
• Knowledge of general security concepts and methods such as encryption, data disposition, data classification, security policy creation, enterprise security strategies, architectures, and governance.
• Basic understanding of data governance and data lifecycle management.
• Knowledge and experience with data management pertaining to Data Privacy, Protection and Lifecycle

Responsibilities

• Manage client engagement teams on data security projects.
• Define technical and business requirements for data security solutions and data governance.
• Lead data security program development and governance across client engagements.
