Job summary

AECOM, based in Dallas, TX, seeks a Senior Director of Cyber Defense & Response to lead the day-to-day operations and the evolution of the Cyber Incident Response program, SOC, and MxDR services. Qualifications

• Experience leading security incident response in cloud, virtualized, and on-prem environments.
• Experience managing security operations with internal teams and MSSP partners.
• Proven ability to translate complex security issues for executive audiences.
• Understanding of AI/ML in security operations and associated risks.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 24x7 global security operations center and managed services.
• Define and own the MxDR operating model, vendor selection, and SLAs.
• Direct detection engineering across SIEM, SOAR and EDR with automation.
• Lead AI strategy for SOC governance and measurable outcomes.
