Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 3+ years of credit analysis experience, including financial statement spreading, credit risk assessment, and credit recommendations.
• Strong financial analysis skills with the ability to evaluate financial performance and make sound credit decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to partner effectively across departments.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proactive, adaptable approach with an interest in process improvement and continuous learning.
• Experience with ERP systems, SAP preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer financial statements, credit reports, and payment trends to evaluate financial performance and creditworthiness.
• Prepare detailed credit analyses, recommend credit limits, and assign appropriate risk ratings.
• Manage an assigned portfolio, monitoring credit exposure, payment performance, and potential risks.
• Partner with commercial and finance teams to support customer relationships and provide credit recommendations.
• Evaluate credit holds and make recommendations regarding order releases and alternative credit solutions.
• Support cash application, account reconciliations, collections, and other credit-related activities.
• Prepare credit, collections, and portfolio reporting for management.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and increase operational efficiency.
