Apple Bank for Savings seeks a Senior Counsel I to provide legal counsel to the Consumer Banking Division on products, services, and regulatory matters, including deposits, payments, and lending. You will review marketing materials, disclosures, and customer communications while monitoring regulatory developments and advising internal partners.

• JD required.
• Active New York State bar license.
• 5–8 years of legal experience in banking or financial institutions.
• Experience advising on consumer/retail banking regulatory matters.
• Experience with digital banking platforms and electronic payments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently in a highly regulated environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; detail-oriented and organized.

Responsabilidades

• Primary legal reviewer for marketing and advertising materials, partnering with Marketing, Compliance, and business teams to ensure compliance with consumer protection and banking laws and accurate product terms and conditions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate sponsorship and marketing-related contracts.
• Review consumer-facing agreements, disclosures, notices, and forms.
• Monitor regulatory developments and advise on business impact.
• Advise on payments-related third-party relationships and review related contracts and operating requirements.
• Advise on consumer banking laws and standards (e.g., Truth in Savings Act, EFAA, EFT Act, TILA, UDAP).
• Perform other duties as requested.
